That feeling you get on a Tuesday when you bagged a twenty ealrier in the day.

I don't believe it to be honest, I went and bagged a twenty. I think my own blog writing last night inspired me to get out today after work for the last few hours. Never did I expect the result I got though. If you've been stuck in most of the winter now is the time, make the time, to get out and have one last crack. You never know what could happen. Good luck and tight lines.

There will be a full blog update here soon detailing, and a full video of the fish and story on my Youtube channel. But in the mean time, this is a blatant plug for my youtube channel. Please pass it on to your fishing buddies, like and subscribe and when I think the time is right I'll release the video for you all to enjoy. I currently have 56 subscribers. My son, a youtube fan (not of my channel though) says that for my 100th subscriber I am supposed to do something special. Well let's see if we can hit that magic mark and the epic video will be up.

  1. Nice one Paul seems like an age since you had a twenty lol, good timing aswell getting it in there just before the close!
If thats the fish i think it is, isnt it about time you got it a lead lol Only jesting mate, bet your gunna miss the river again after getting back on it over the last month.
I sometimes think the close is a good thing though as it helps us all try new things and concentrate on other things more.
look firward to the video of the twenty

    1. Cheers Matt. I'm done with chasing twenties. When you go out and target one it's nothing but a hard grind unless you do bag one. As was the case yesterday, it's much better to just go fishing and whatever you get is a result. The twenty never crossed my mind, despite us not being able to fish most of the season and despite the season being over in a few days. Good luck if you manage to get out, hope there's a few fish biting.

    1. cheers Danny, and good luck. Not much time to fish because of seaosn close and even worse not much time with the pike due (if not already) to spawn. Seen the fish in your latest blog, looks like you might be right.

  4. Nice one Paul, thought it was time you got one. I've booked Fri pm off work to get out for a last blast. A mid double would do me to cap off a pretty strange season, but equally I'll be just as happy not to blank.

    1. Good luck Lee, hope something big comes along it would make a nice finish. I've left the river now, happy with the twenty but also I noticed a bit of spawn coming out of the fish so decided to leave them alone on my bit of water so there'll be no more fish from me.
