Don't be silly, not that forty club!

Today I logged on to my stats page to find my blog has now had over forty thousand page views. That's absolutely crazy. I'm glad that my little efforts to put finger to keyboard aren't totally wasted on the vastness of the internet, it is a big place you know, and at least a few people find something interesting. Or maybe they're just trying to find out my swim?

I'm glad my fishing exploits are enough to pass on five or ten minutes to some, that some people find something interesting and others learn a thing or two. I don't claim to be the best, know the most or be the most interesting but I've amazingly had people get in touch to say I've actually inspired them to fish! What the hell? Now that is crazy! I just go fishing for Christ's sake and then write a few words about it, but to find that even one person out there was inspired is fantastic. A very big thanks from me to all the readers, those that comment and those that have even been in touch to ask for advice or just give me a pat on the back. I'll try my best to catch a few more fish, show off some nice photos, give you something to read on your lunch break or even better give you that urge to get out on the bank and just fish.
